Prayer Chain

Dear Partner in Prayer,
God has opened my eyes in the past several months to see again the importance and the power of prayer. The greatest power is God acting on behalf of those who lay their lives and the challenges of their lives before him. Yet, there is also a tremendous power in prayer as you and I experience the peace that comes when we have placed the important things in our lives -- into his lap. God has gifted me in many ways, yet I still have so much to learn when it comes to prayer. That is why I thank you for being part of this chain. May you use this gift God has given you for the sake of others as you lift them up to our merciful and powerful God.

Your servant in Jesus,

Pastor

Prayer Chain Instructions
When you get a call:
1. Write down the prayer request information, the person’s name, and what the request is for, such as illness, surgery, comfort, or thanksgiving.  Repeat the prayer back to the person who called you.
2. Hang up and offer a prayer for the person(s) immediately.  Carry them to the Lord right away.  They are your immediate ministry concern.
3. Call the next person on the prayer chain list immediately.
4. If there is no answer, call the next name.  Call down the list until you reach someone.  Remember to leave a message or later call to make contact with the person under your name so that everyone is praying.
5. Do Not add or subtract anything to the prayer request.
6. Keep prayer requests confidential.
7. If there are any problems or questions you may contact the church office.
